Cinza the came to Dr. Boazman for a 3rd opinion on her paw pad problems !

Cinza had been treated for 8 weeks with medications & bandages

A LARGE RED LUMP was 1st noticed by Cinza’s mom

Although some improvement was noted, the paw pad problem did not resolve

In this series of videos we demonstrate what we did to help Cinza with her paw

Cinza’s story reveals how we implemented VET MED TECHNOLOGY TOOLS such as DIGITAL CYTOLOGY thanks to idexx & CO2 LASER SURGERY thanks to aesculight_lasers

Seeing = BELIEVING when it comes to C02 LASER MAGIC!

Dr Boazman was 1st exposed to LASER TECHNOLOGY in & over 20 years ago

“When I was introduced to the benefits of this technology over a scalpel blade, I decided that it was wrong for me to be without it”

Since then, LASER has come a LONG WAY to help provide EXCELLENT CARE for PETS !

Dr. Boazman explains the BENEFITS of LASER SURGERY in PETS & how LASER TECHNOLOGY has improved over time

Laser = precise & can selectively remove only a few tissue cells at a time. At the same time, it is powerful enough to de-bulk entire tumors. It can be used to make unique bloodless laser incisions, as well as “erase” unhealthy tissue without excessive loss of unavoidable in conventional scalpel surgery.

Minimized : As it cuts the seals small blood vessels. Reduced bleeding enables a new procedures which are not practical or even possible with a scalpel, such as tumors & lesions inside the throat,  &  some types of surgery, & nasal hyperkeratosis treatment. Better visualization of the surgical site allows us to cut more precisely, avoiding unnecessary trauma to healthy surrounding tissues. In addition, some procedures do not require sutures

Excellent visibility provides another huge advantage of CO2  surgery! This allows us to complete the surgery faster. Short procedures shorten anesthesia time & reduce the anesthesia risks. Finally, better visibility ensures better esthetic result.

Less Pain: The CO2 beam seals nerve endings & lymphatics, resulting in less post-operative swelling & pain. The patient experiences a more comfortable post-operative recovery.

Reduced risk of infection: Sanitizing effect is one of the unique features of the CO2 laser beam. It efficiently destroys in its path (sanitizing effect). CO2 laser surgery is performed in a non-contact mode – the laser tip does not touch the target tissue during surgery, which minimizes risk of infection.

Fast recovery time: Reduced risk of infection, less pain & swelling, less time under anesthesia, allows for a speedy  recovery after surgery & pets walk, eat, drink, or play much sooner than after conventional scalpel surgery.
